The tribes of Zebulun, Issachar, and Manasseh are three of the twelve tribes of Israel, as mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). These tribes were among the descendants of Jacob, who was also known as Israel, and they played significant roles in the history and culture of ancient Israel.

  1. Zebulun: Zebulun was one of the sons of Jacob and Leah. The tribe of Zebulun settled in the northern region of Israel, in an area that encompassed the eastern portion of the territory of the tribe of Asher and the western part of the tribe of Naphtali. Zebulun's territory included towns such as Nahalal, Kedesh, and Mount Carmel. Zebulun's location near the Sea of Galilee and the Mediterranean coast made it an important region for trade and commerce.

  2. Issachar: Issachar was another son of Jacob and Leah. The tribe of Issachar settled in the region to the southeast of the Sea of Galilee, with their territory bordering that of Zebulun to the north. The region of Issachar was fertile and known for its agricultural productivity. The tribe of Issachar was known for its strong agricultural skills and contributed to the economic prosperity of the northern kingdom of Israel.

  3. Manasseh: Manasseh was one of the sons of Joseph, who was the eleventh son of Jacob. Joseph had received a double portion of the inheritance, and his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, became tribes in their own right. The tribe of Manasseh settled on both sides of the Jordan River, with one portion in the eastern region and the other portion to the west of the Jordan. The western region of Manasseh's territory included cities such as Beth-shean, Jezreel, and Shechem.

These three tribes, along with the other nine tribes, formed the confederation of Israel and played significant roles in the history of the Israelite nation. They participated in the conquest of Canaan, the establishment of the Israelite monarchy, and the subsequent division of the kingdom into the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah.
