George Frederick Cruchley (1797–1880) was a renowned British map publisher and seller, known for his maps and atlases during the 19th century. In 1835, Cruchley produced a map titled "New Map of Ireland Showing the Railways & Principal Stations, with the Distance & Rates of Fares from the Grand Stations." This map was created during a period of significant development in the railway infrastructure of Ireland.

The map depicted the evolving railway network, highlighting major railway lines, stations, and their respective distances. It provided valuable information for travelers, businesses, and individuals interested in the expanding railway system of Ireland during the early 19th century.

George Frederick Cruchley (1797–1880) was a notable British map publisher and seller during the 19th century. He was active in London and gained a reputation for producing and selling a wide variety of maps and atlases. His cartographic works were known for their accuracy and detail, and he contributed significantly to the field of mapmaking during his career.

Cruchley established his map-selling business in London in the early 19th century. He gained recognition for his detailed and up-to-date maps, which catered to the needs of travelers, businesses, and scholars. Cruchley's maps covered various regions, including England, Ireland, Scotland, and other parts of the world.

One of his notable contributions was the publication of the "Cruchley's Railway and Telegraphic Map of the United Kingdom," which provided detailed information about the rapidly expanding railway network in the mid-19th century.

In addition to his maps, Cruchley was involved in the sale of maps produced by other cartographers. His business was successful, and he continued to operate until his death in 1880. After his death, the Cruchley map business was taken over by his son, George Cruchley Jr., who continued the family's cartographic legacy.

  • The matte photo paper it's acid-free (archival paper), 190 gr/sqm;
  • The fine art photo paper it's satinated (semi-glossy), 140 gr/sqm.

Clients from US and Canada cannot track the parcels as the tracking numbers are not rolled in USPS and Canada Post systems.

* UPS standard: The orders will be sent with UPS expedited option. The delivery time it's between 5-11 days. Tracking number will be provided after dispatch.

* UPS express: : The orders will be sent with UPS express saver. The delivery time it's between 4-7 days. Tracking number will be provided after dispatch.

Framing tips

Both type of materials, paper and canvas prints come rolled and will be need to be taken to your local framers.

The image it's printed with a border of 0.6 " (1.5 cm), for framing purposes only.

If you have already a frame, be sure you send us the exact size of the print that will fit inside the frame. We're printing on vectorial plotters so the size could slightly be more or less with 0.4" (1 cm).

If you plan to have the canvas print stretched on wooden frame, you'll need additional border, so please let us know after placing the order.
