Thomas Moule (1784–1851) was an English antiquarian, engraver, and writer known for his decorative and detailed maps. He gained prominence in the early to mid-19th century for his works, particularly his series of county maps that were beautifully illustrated and ornamented with intricate designs and historical references. Moule's maps were highly popular during his time and have since become sought-after collectibles for those interested in cartography and historical art.

Moule's maps were characterized by their intricate engravings of local landmarks, notable figures, and scenes of historical importance, all surrounded by elaborate decorative borders. They often featured depictions of local architecture, industries, and natural features, making them not only cartographic representations but also works of art and historical documentation.

In addition to his cartographic work, Moule was known for his books on heraldry, antiquities, and other historical subjects. His contributions to the documentation and illustration of English counties have left a lasting legacy, particularly in the field of historical cartography and the preservation of local history.
