Jean Baptiste Louis Clouet, also known as Abbé Clouet, was a French archaeologist and clergyman. He was born on September 9, 1730, in Paris, France, and died on May 15, 1790.

Abbé Clouet is primarily known for his work in archaeology and his contributions to the study of ancient civilizations. He was particularly interested in ancient Egypt and conducted extensive research on Egyptian hieroglyphics and the decipherment of ancient texts.
