François Halma (1653–1722) was a notable French engraver, printer, and publisher who made significant contributions to the arts and printing industry in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. He is renowned for his work on various publications, including creating engravings and illustrations for different books and texts during his time.

"Capitoline Hill, Veteris Capitolii Adumbrata Magnitudo, E Nardini Descript" translates to "Capitoline Hill, The Extent of the Old Capitol Outlined, From Nardini's Description" in English. The Capitoline Hill is one of the seven hills of Rome and is known for its rich history and importance in ancient Roman culture.

François Halma created the engraving of the Capitoline Hill based on the description by Nardini in the year 1700. This work depicted the layout or an aspect of the Old Capitol, providing valuable visual and historical insights into this significant Roman landmark. Framing tips

Both type of materials, paper and canvas prints come rolled and will be need to be taken to your local framers.

The image it's printed with a border of 0.6 " (1.5 cm), for framing purposes only.

If you have already a frame, be sure you send us the exact size of the print that will fit inside the frame. We're printing on vectorial plotters so the size could slightly be more or less with 0.4" (1 cm).

If you plan to have the canvas print stretched on wooden frame, you'll need additional border, so please let us know after placing the order.
