"Jacqueline Seated" is a painting by Pablo Picasso completed in 1954.

The painting depicts Jacqueline Roque, who was Picasso's second wife, seated in a chair. She is shown from the waist up, facing slightly to the right, with her hands resting on her lap. Her face is rendered in a series of bold, abstracted lines and shapes, emphasizing her distinctive features. The background of the painting is a series of muted, earthy tones, with occasional pops of bright color.

Picasso's approach to the female form in this painting is characterized by his use of bold, abstracted lines and forms. He emphasizes Jacqueline's unique features, such as her distinctive nose and chin, while also conveying a sense of her personality and inner life through the painting's composition and color palette.

"Jacqueline Seated" is part of a series of paintings that Picasso created in the 1950s and 1960s that depicted his relationship with Jacqueline Roque. These paintings are notable for their highly stylized and abstracted forms, as well as their use of bold and sweeping lines. The series reflects Picasso's ongoing fascination with the human form, as well as his deep emotional connection to Jacqueline and their life together.
