Giacomo Giovanni Rossi was an Italian engraver and publisher known for his cartographic works during the late 17th century. His work often involved producing and publishing maps and atlases that were well-regarded for their accuracy and aesthetic appeal.

The map "Il Regno di Aragona Descritto da D. Nicolo Cantelli Geografo Dato in Luce. Rome 1696" translates to "The Kingdom of Aragon Described by D. Nicolo Cantelli, Geographer, Published in Rome 1696." This indicates that the map or atlas described the Kingdom of Aragon and was created by the geographer Nicolo Cantelli and published in Rome in 1696.

The historical map likely offered detailed geographical information about the Kingdom of Aragon, which was a medieval and early modern kingdom in the northeastern part of the Iberian Peninsula. It covered territories that are now part of Spain, including areas such as present-day Aragon, Catalonia, and Valencia.

Rossi's work was characterized by its accuracy, attention to detail, and artistic quality, and his maps were often known for their elaborate decorations and embellishments. He published various works that covered different geographical regions, including maps of Italy and other parts of Europe.

Some of his notable works include maps of the regions of Italy, which were celebrated for their intricacy and detailed depictions of various cities, regions, and historical landmarks. Rossi's maps have become valuable historical artifacts, appreciated for their significant contributions to the field of cartography during the late 17th century.
